My name is Bailee Bigley! I am a 3rd grade teacher in Idaho. I am very passionate about integrating technology into the classroom. I am the TIM (Technology Integration Mentor) for my school; which means, I help teachers at my school learn new tips/tricks about ways to integrate technology in the classroom. I am not a paperless classroom because I still think using a pencil and paper is important. My classroom thrives on engaging activities, growth mindset, and a little bit of controlled chaos. My classroom is a flexible seating classroom. I know flexible seating doesn’t work for everyone, but I have found it to be a game changer in my classroom.
I also help run the student council group, which we call PALs (Peer Assitance and Leadership). This student council group is for the 4th-6th graders at our school.
A lot of fun and crazy things happen in my classroom which has led to others giving me the “you are insane” look, but what I teach and do in my classroom works for me. I created this blog to share all the ideas and strategies I use. I hope you enjoy following along on all the educational adventures that are happening in my classroom.
